Ham Radio Jump Start Saturday is a hands-on, one-on-one help session for newcomer hams and anyone getting back into amateur radio.
Bring your questions, radio or equipment issues, handheld/mobile/HF radios, power supplies, manuals, and an open mind. BVRC Elmers will work with attendees in an informal, hands-on environment to help with programming questions, antenna problems, radio choices, and the next steps toward getting on the air.
No registration is needed. Free and open to all newly licensed amateurs or anyone looking to get back into the hobby.
